Digihub sprang up on a Saturday night as a few digital-savvy friends, after a modest meal, began sharing their dream of a strong economy run by thousands of small and medium-sized businesses that could enrich their customers’ lives through their exceptional products and services.

Digihub has at heart to give small, medium and family-owned businesses all the support they need to produce more customers, expand their presence in their markets, and provide more value for their customers.

2020 ~ The year that reshaped the way we do business

It is estimated that the shutdowns implemented to control the pandemic costs the Mauritian economy between Rs 1 billion and Rs 1.3 billion a day.

On March 19th 2020, The Government of Mauritius announced that the country will be on Sanitary Lockdown.

On March 24th 2020, The Government of Mauritius announced that the country will be on complete lock-down until March 31st 2020.

Everything went to sleep then!

The total lock-down lasted for 68 days.

The country frontiers were closed on March 18th 2020 except for cargo airplanes and cargo ships.

This left many businesses, particularly small, medium and family-owned ones to the ground and many were not able to stand up after that harsh blow.

We were witnesses to the brutal impact that this lockdown had on start-ups entrepreneur, small, medium and family-owned businesses.
